Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav- 2022
Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav- the 76th Indian Independence was celebrated with great zeal and patriotic fervour at Kundan Vidya Mandir. The whole campus donned in the colors of the day- Saffron, White and green and was reverberating with the joy of patriotism all over. Keeping alive the tradition of spreading awareness about the importance of freedom and infusing the spirit of Patriotism among the young ambassadors of India. A Prabhat Pheri was taken out. The school students along with the principal Mr. A.P. Sharma Vice Principal Mrs Sonia Verma, section heads and the students were brimming with patriotic spirit carrying tricolour banners, raising slogans and singing inspirational songs. A Marvelous tableau depicting the culture of Punjab was displayed. Then a magnificent and thought provoking function began in the school auditorium with the arrival of the chief guest, and the dignitaries including Mr Ashwani Kumar the secretary Shri Kundan Lal trust, Mr Steven Soni, the treasurer, Shri Kundan Lal trust, Mr A. P. Sharma, the school Principal and Mrs Sonia Verma the school Vice-principal. On this auspicious occasion of Independence - Mr H.S. Bedi the state and national awardee Mathematician was the chief guest. NCC Cadets and Iron Eagle Cadets accorded a grand welcome to the chief guest by giving guard of honour to the melodious tune of the school band. After inspecting the guard of honour he hoisted the national flag and the national anthem was sung in a chorus. The chief guest Mr H.S. Bedi congratulated all and urged the youth to strengthen the freedom that has been attained after so long a struggle and too many sacrifices. 'Hum Sab Bhartiya Hain.' marked the closing of this grand event
