Celebration of Children’s Day
Children are the most precious creation in the world. They are the future of the nation. 14 November is celebrated in India every year as Children’s Day to promote awareness of the rights, care, and education of the children. It is also a tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister, of India on his birthday, who was known for his affection for children . Kundan Vidya Mandir, City Campus also focused the day on children and their enjoyment. The day commenced with immense joy , enthusiasm and magnificence.The celebrations began with the Morning Prayer, followed by variety of fun filled games and activities. It was made special for children by involving them into various games like Rasgulla Race, frog race, sack and many other fun filled games etc. All the winners were given gifts as a token of love. As part of the children’s day celebration Special stalls *Daadi ki Rasoi* were put up in the school premises, which were highly appreciated and were a grand success. Everyone enjoyed various food items like Sarson ka saag, gol gappas, chaat etc. With such a vast arena of cultural events and fun filled activities, it has proved to be a memorable day for the students.
